A new Queen has emerged from the 2014 edition of the Miss Tourism Nigeria beauty pageant.
Collette Nwadike, a 23-year-old graduate of English language and Literature from the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Anambra State was crowned winner of the beauty pageant held on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Ruby Gardens Event Center, Lekki, in Lagos.
Beautiful and fair-skinned Collete represented Anambra State and out-shined the 34 other tourism ambassadors. From the five finalists, Collete emerged winner, with Joy Arhwere from Abuja as first runner up and Kebbi’s Mildred Odimegu coming in third place. The Queen will go on to represent Nigeria at the 2014 Miss Tourism World pageant coming up later this year.
Von Akpochi aka General and Shine Begho of Cool FM Lagos hosted the show, while Brenda Nsikak (CEO Brendance and Crusader Ltd), Dozie Iwuchukwu (Creative Director-Television Host of Fashionista TV), Miriam Elisha (CEO Rikaoto by me), Mrs Ebere Chukwu (CEO Scintilla Limited) and Segun Oyeyemi (Face of World Nigeria 2007) were judges.
